Peace of Heart

"If there is to be peace in the world, there must be peace in the nations. If there is to be peace in the nations, there must be peace in the cities. If there is to be peace in the cities, there must be peace between neighbors. If there is to be peace between neighbors, there must be peace in the home. If there is to be peace in the home, there must be peace in the heart." ~ Lao Tse, 6th Century B.C.

The world around us is ever-changing, we are in a culture right now in the world that is fostering, festering, stirring up, strife, bitterness and unforgiveness. Instability and insecurity are everywhere, at every age and social level and in almost every walk of life. There are unhappy people as seen in their preoccupation with sex, drugs and drink to maintain some semblance of security by escaping from the realities of life into a world of fantasy created by themselves. Sadly to see these people who ruin their health as well as their lives by taking the poison of bitterness, resentment and unforgiveness. Love is the exact opposite of unforgiveness, envy, jealousy, hate, pride and bitterness. We can have peace in the heart only if we learn to truly forgive and love one another.

"Every act of love is a work of peace, no matter how small." ~ Mother Theresa

Have heard that to forgive and to forget while personally, learn to forgive but not to forget; to learn from the past and not repeating it and dont dwell in the past. By embracing forgiveness, we embrace peace, hope, gratitude and joy. Here's the Nine Steps to Forgiveness.

To love others is to love yourself first. What will draw to you is exactly what you have created in life, and what you believe you are worthy of. So loving yourself can create love in your life. Here's the Tips For How To Love Yourself.

Found this song, Love by John Winston Ono Lennon (9 October 1940 – 8 December 1980) as one of the founding members of The Beatles. He is ranked the second most successful songwriter in UK singles chart history after McCartney.

Love this soft and smoothing song for its simple lyrics.

LOVE - John Lennon

Love is real, real is love
Love is feeling, feeling is love
Love is wanting to be loved

Love is touch, touch is love
Love is reaching, reaching love
Love is asking to be loved

Love is you, you and me
Love is knowing we can be

Love is free, free is love
Love is living, living love
Love is needing to be loved
