The Beatitudes

Happened to view one of the long lost contact friend's blog in his post - New Start posted on July 04, I hope to drop a message here in my post and wish that he might be able to see it since the comment in his post has been closed off.

As a Christian, our life is not a bed of roses and there will be trials, tribulations and temptations in it. Is during the stage of emptiness, doubtness, darkness and helpless that the more we need to hold on to our Heavenly Father and this is when our faith will grow stronger and unshakable.

The function of the mind is to produce beliefs about what we see, hear, feel. Every time we take any of our thoughts (or someone else's thoughts) as THE truth, we judge and with every judgment, we grow further and further from God. We need to learn to come closer to Him through acceptance of other, different from us and perspectives on life. Dont be a puppet dancing to somebody's strings.

"You have heard that it was said 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.' But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also." Mathew 5:38-39

It's not easy and simple to act, the spirit is willing but the human flesh is weak, forgive those who have judged and wronged you and to let go off hurting them back. Instead, try to get him more contracts in your new company, you will be respected as a man of God after you did so. Most importantly, our Heavenly Father will rewards you in heaven for you have obey his commentment to show love to those who is unlove.

Meawhile, let's remind each other again on The Beatitudes:
1) Love our enemies and turn the other cheek. (Mathew 6:27-36)
2) Treat others the way we want to be treated. (Mathew 6:27-36)
3) Dont judge and we wont be judged, dont condemn and we wont be condemned, forgive and we will be forgiven, give and we will receive. (Mathew 6:37-38)
4) Can the blind lead the blind? Disciples are not above their teacher. (Mathew 6:39-40)
5) Remove the log from our own eye before attending to the splinter in our friend's. (Mathew 40-42)
6) A good tree does not produce bad fruit and a bad tree cannot produce good fruit, each tree is known by its fruit. (Mathew 43-45)
7) Love God wholeheartedly and love people fervently. (Mathew 46)
8) Whoever follows these words of God builds on rock and will survive, whoever does not builds on sand and will be destroyed. (Mathew 47-49)

God bless!
