Marriage Builders

The divorce rate is extremely high in today's society because husbands and wives supposedly stop loving one another-or they "fall out of love". They may go through a rough patch in their marriage, and they no longer "feel" love for their spouse, so they call it quits. Evidently, their marriage vow of "till death do us part" means they can part at the death of their love for their spouse rather than at their physical death.

There can be a thousand very small and different causes of divorce in a particular case. But given below are the most frequent and most common causes of divorce.

1) Lack of communication or poor communication - Poor or lack of communication between husband and wife is the most common cause of divorce these days. People are not always ready to discuss those small things which doesn't seems to be working out. It results in conflicts and arguing, which ends up at divorce.
2) Lack of commitment for the marriage to make it a success - People are not commited to marriage or their spouses.
3) Not being faithful with spouse - This is another common reason for the marriage break-ups. If you not faithful, it is just time that it is recognized and take care of (in terms of divorce).
4) Financial Reasons - Yes, this is also one of the most common causes of divorce. This happens in two cases. First, when people do not want to discuss their financial situations like debts etc. before marriages. Second, when before marriage, wife thinks that husband should earn for the family and husband thinks that they should both working for the betterment of the family. This results in conflicts later.

Marriages today across the globe are facing more challenges as couples cope with greater demands at work, competing aspirations, and evolving societal values. One concern is that couples today increasingly see divorce as their first option when their marriage hits a rocky patch.

The successful marriage depends on two things; finding the right person and being the right person.

Personally, I do earnestly hope that everyone should have the opportunity to go thru Marriage Builders and understand the importance factors in excelling their marriage through God's purpose.

God bless!
